The FT-5DR is the newest member to the System Fusion II (C4FM) digital voice technology line. The FT5DR is capable of 2 meters or 70 centimeter operation, 5 watts of power, offers a full color TFT (320×240) LCD display, capable of APRS at 1200bps or 9600 bps operation, Bluetooth operation, CAM (Club Activity Monitor) Channel function, voice recording of received and transmitted voice/audio, is capable to store access tones (CTCSS/DCS) with mode of operation (FM, AMS, DN, or VW) and DG-ID per memory channel basis. The FT3DR is also capable of WiRES-X PDN functionality (with the SCU-19 or SCU-39 kit) with no firmware updates needed. With all these features and more it weights less than 10 oz. and shares existing accessories with the FT2DR product line.
